National Chancellery 2017 - 2020

IAEWP was founded in 1967 @ Huntsville, Alabama, USA and was incorporated in 1969 ; it was once represented in over a 100 countries. In its impressive 50 years of evolution, aging National Chancellors have retired due to crippling old age, some died while others became incapacitated by chronic illness .  It is now undergoing a natural process of rejuvenation and grows in symbiosis with the challenges of the turbulent future.

IAEWP is now actively appointing vibrant individuals who are able to promote the peace agenda of the Association in a voluntary capacity position. These are rare breed of highly evolved human beings who serve with passion and compassion to make this world a better position.

IAEWP is a highly decentralized organization working on the tenets of Zero Budget ( Do what you can with what little you have ); Zero Bureaucracy ( There are no layers of approval seeking protocols ) and Zero Politics ( It is apolitical in nature and members can hop-in or hop-out at their own free will ).

The National Chancellery of each nation maintains its own Membership Register and is highly recommended to be registered as a legal Non Government Organization within the spectrum of the local laws of the land.

Every National Chancellery would seek its own funds for activities and maintain a proper accounting and taxation administrative details to meet the requirement of local laws.

It is recommended that every country has ONE National Chancellor; ONE Deputy National Chancellor;  ONE or More Vice Chancellor depending on how large is the size of the population, One Secretary General, One Treasurer and ONE State Chancellor for EACH STATE.; or any other structure suitable and favorable to your local operating environment.

The National Chancellor and all designations are a volunteer position and no remuneration or monetary gratification nor grants are available from the Head Quarters.

Each chancellery's activities in every nation are focus on the 6 Principal tenets of the IAEWP, in addition to supporting the calls of the UN for a safer and harmonious world.

Here is the revised tenets of IAEWP beginning 2017:-

1. To Promote World Peace Through Education.
2. To Support Environmental Protection and Ecological Sustainability.
3. Safeguarding the Universal Declaration of Human Rights & Human Dignity.
4. To Promote Nuclear Disarmament , Demilitarization & Prevention of Wars.
5. To Promote Conflict Management & Resolution Through Negotiation .
6. To Promote Social Cohesion Through Interfaith Harmony.

Intending applicants may write in directly to the President for appointment and copied to the Deputy Secretary General for updating of this blogsite. View our CONTACT US page for details.

The 2017 appointments are currently in progress and may take 12 months or longer to be fully populated.

Special Warning !

We are still deliberating if the email addresses and personal phone numbers should be listed here because fraudster and scammers offer fake air tickets and fictitious speaking engagements for non existent peace congresses and subtly request money for visa and non specific handling charges only. These are elaborate scams to influence and deceive gullible individuals on a global scale. We advice our members to be wary of these dupe masters on the prowl. The wolfs are in sheep clothing! There could even be kidnap attempts for ransom. Most of our members are in retirement with just enough to survive month to month.

Strict Prohibition.

All members are strictly prohibited from using the name, any and all insignia of the United Nations and its affiliated agencies. Any member who violates this prohibition would be expelled  immediately and automatically without recourse.

IAEWP is NOT an agency of the United Nations or its affiliated agencies. IAEWP is just an NGO of the United Nations and should NOT be misconstrued as a representative of the United Nations.

Any misrepresentation as such is a criminal fraud. There is no place for criminals and fraudsters in IAEWP. The stationery of IAEWP should NOT have any insignia of the UN or its affiliated agencies.

Letter of Authorization from the President of IAEWP to the Deputy Secretary General ( Mr. Steve Varatharajan ) and IAEWP Permanent Representative to the United Nations  ( Ms. Lana Yang ) on appointing senior officials to rejuvenate the organization. An abridged version is listed below:

December 16, 2016

Dear Steve Varatharajan:

Either you or Lana Yang may make official appointments of our various officers around the world.  However, when you make such appointments let them know what they are expected to do since our appointments are not an ornament or a sign of honor.

For example, the National Chancellor is expected to form a national chapter consisting of a minimum of 13 individuals. They should have periodical meetings to discuss the kind of activities that could then be performed. Such activities must be based on the main objectives of IAEWP.

Relative to the Vice President of a global region, then such an individual must understand that he has the obligation to appoint himself a National Chancellor in every country within his region. Keep up the good work.

Charles Mercieca
IAEWP President.
